What stays on your device

To save you retyping, PickSpin keeps your wheel options, name lists, team lists, settings, tallies and recent results in your browser's localStorage. It never leaves your device and PickSpin can't read it. Spins, flips, rolls and draws are calculated in your browser and aren't sent anywhere.

The AI option suggester

If you use "Suggest options" on the wheel or decision maker, the text you typed is sent to our server and on to an AI model through Vercel AI Gateway to generate a list. PickSpin doesn't store it or link it to you. Your IP address is held in memory for a few minutes to limit abuse, then discarded. Don't type personal information into it.

Analytics

We use Ahrefs Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. It is cookieless and doesn't build profiles of individual visitors.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and time of request) for security and operations.

Children

PickSpin is used in classrooms. There's nothing to sign up for, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone. Teachers: class lists you paste stay in that browser; use the button above on shared computers.
